Today after a long time what we want to share with you is not out of the normal but something very unique you'd want to ask for more. African women that are changing the world, we'll be briefly looking at their contributions to the world and how these things are helping in positively shaping the world to be a place we want to it to be.
Apparently these contributions of African women have done more good especially with solving problems than the reverse, so we want to use this to celebrate these African women contributing in their own little ways to change the world positvely.
Patricia Bath
First on our list of African women who have contributed much is Patricia Bath and her contribution to engineering. She's and Engineer in health sciences that helped in developing various technologies an example is she immensely helps to develop cutting edge technology in the treatment and removal of cataracts. Never to amaze you that she is the first African American doctor to receive a medical patient. A lot more has been said of Patricia Bath and her achievement.
Amber Scott
Next is beautiful Amber Scott who saw the problems poor families faced especially lack of education, she saw how education could help lift families our of poverty so she founded Leap Year, a firm in Atlanta(USA) that is aimed at helping low incoming families and also first generation college students.
Joy Buolamwini
Joy Buolamwini is a tech expert and a program that works in the field of computer algorithm. Of course she doubles as an algorithm activities who fights to ensure that algorithms used in our daily tech gadgets and applications do not lead to discrimination. She does this through her founded company Algorithmic Justice League. Being a programmer, Joy calls herself Poet Of Code.
Kimberly Bryant
A technology expert that has dedicated her time to making sure that young African American girls get on the moving train with respect to learning to code, she is doing this to even out the gender/racial distribution and representation in tech, she founded Black Girls Code in the year 2011, since inception Black Girls Code has helped teach and expose young African American girls to the STEM fields of study.
These and many more African women have been changing the world in their own little ways, improving the world by adding their skill and passion in things that matter the most to our society.
